Starkey Duncan served as the University's Faculty Athletic Representative to the NCAA for more than 20 years until his death in 2007. A professor of psychology who attended thousands of UChicago athletic events, Duncan was known for his enthusiasm for mentoring and his sincere interest in the student-athlete.
