Larry Liss was a guard on the Maroons men's basketball team that posted the school's best four-year winning percentage since 1911-12. Liss spearheaded the team to a cumulative record of 64-20 (.762 winning percentage). His best statistical season came as a junior in 1961-62, when he averaged 12.9 points per game and shot 89.1 percent from the free throw line. Liss currently ranks No. 2 in school history in career free throw percentage at 81.7 percent.
