Rosalie Resch has made a seismic impact on UChicago Athletics while representing the Maroons as a student-athlete, coach and administrator. Resch was a three-sport athlete as an undergraduate, competing in softball, volleyball and badminton. Her .481 career batting average on the softball diamond is tied for the school record. Resch led the volleyball team as head coach from 1977-97 and remains the program's all-time leader in victories with 263. Now in her 48th year working at the University, Resch holds the title of Senior Associate Athletic Director for Finance and Internal Operations. She's been an active presence on leadership committees on the campus, conference and national levels as well. Resch's service and example within the department has benefitted generations of Maroon student-athletes along the way.
