Paul Des Jardien was an All-American center for the Chicago football teams that compiled a 17-3-1 record from 1912-14 with a Big Ten title in 1913. Des Jardien, who also lettered in baseball, basketball, and track & field, played professional football for the Chicago Cardinals and Minneapolis Marines and spent one season on the roster of the Cleveland Indians baseball team.
