Hall of Fame
Edith Ballwebber directed women's athletics at Chicago from 1937 to 1967. Under her direction, Play Days continued to gain in popularity until the onset of women's intercollegiate play. As a tribute to Ballwebber's legacy, the Graduate Women's Athletic Association annually presents Edith Ballwebber Awards to a member of each class for their total contribution to the women's athletics program.
