Jim Raptis made an impact in UChicago's annals in football and baseball. Raptis was a four-time All-UAA wide receiver who hauled in the most receptions in program history for a game (17), season (77) and career (214). He also stands at No. 2 for season and career receiving yards (983 and 2,715). On the baseball diamond, Raptis swung a potent bat that led to top six school rankings in nine categories. He is No. 3 in career doubles (36), No. 4 in career batting average (.376) and No. 5 in career hits (136).
