Peter Wang produced the most decorated career in UChicago wrestling history. He was named the NCAA Division III Most Outstanding Wrestler in 1992 after winning his second-consecutive national championship at the 177-pound weight class. Wang earned All-America honors four-straight years, finishing third in 1989 and fourth in 1990 before winning individual titles in 1991 and 1992. On the conference level, he was a two-time champion within the University Athletic Association (UAA). He was later selected to the UAA 25th Anniversary Wrestling Team. Wang more than 100 matches in his four-year career and received the Stagg Medal in 1992.
